In December 2022, Dr. Elizabeth Shaw (Founder, 1000 Black Voices) and Emma Wade Smith OBE (HM Trade Commissioner for North America and HM Consul General New York) were impressive in providing a platform for creating high-impact coalitions between Black tech founders and the New York ecosystem of investors and mentors.

 

The 1000 Black Voices Black Tech Trade Mission brought impressive Black tech founders with innovative technological solutions to New York, where the businesses gained expert advice from industry-leading founders, investors, and tech executives on how to successfully scale businesses in the US and globally. With all parties articulating their strategic goals and interests, a mutually beneficial business relationship, began to unfold!
