IWD: The Women of AWEP Nigeria
During a recent event, the African Women’s Entrepreneurship Programme (AWEP) explored the 2023 global theme for International Women’s Day ('DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality'). Led by the AWEP Nigeria Southwest Zone Vice-President, Funmi Suleman, high-level panel discussions examined the importance of digital gender inclusion for fostering economic and social growth. It was a natural gathering for celebrating the business achievements of a few AWEP Nigeria members (below) – from mushroom and organic farmers to chocolatiers, transformational Consultants and carpenters, to fashion, beauty, wellness, and media entrepreneurs.
