Google has opened applications to its Africa Launchpad Accelerator to startups from Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Launchpad Africa matches the best African startups with the best of Google - its people, network, advanced technologies, and funding - to help build great products.
The three-month accelerator kicks off early in 2018 from a new Google Launchpad Space in Lagos (Nigeria), providing over US$3 million in equity-free support, working space, and access to expert advisers over a three-year period. Successful candidates will also receive travel and PR support.
Applicants must be tech startups based in Sub-Saharan Africa, providing solutions for the African market, and have already secured seed funding.
Application deadline for this first class is December 11, 2017.
