Meet Yapili, the Peer-to-peer (P2P) Platform that Connects Users to Doctors

November 30, 2017

Mobile and web-based e-Health platform Yapili remotely connects users to doctors for medical advice, and is currently running a pilot project in nine countries across Africa: Botswana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Yapili was recently selected as 'Best Startup' at Seedstars Gaborone pitching event in Gaborone (3 November, 2017), and will represent Botswana at the April 2018 Seedstars Summit in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The Botswanan startup will undergo a week-long training program in Switzerland, where it will join 75 other winners selected from around the world, as well as international investors and mentors.

The program culminates in the Seedstars Summit global final contest, where shortlisted startups will pitch in front of an audience of 1,000 for the chance to win up to US$1 million in equity investment, as well as other prizes.
