Ogle-worthy SIV (not SUV) released by Chinese startup, Byton

Chinese startup, Byton, has thrown us a large bone. With a focus on the consumer's digital (rather than driving) experience, its release of an SIV (Smart Intuitive vehicle) is showing just what is possible if mind meets skill and determination.

With a 49-inch “shared-experience” display, touchscreen steering wheel, individual adjustable seats, Amazon’s Alexa, Level 3 autonomy. and wide infotainment screens, Byton's concept focuses on affordable comfort and utility rather than an ultra-luxury driving experience.

Says Byton CEO, Carsten Breitfeld: "Our first Byton is actually a high-tech digital space."

Byton says the car will be available near the end of 2019.
